In previous years, the Farm Bureau has partnered with San Joaquin County Solid Waste Department to host a free tire recycling event for our members. This has been made possible by a grant the county receives to help eliminate these waste tires. In previous years members have been able to eliminate hundreds of tires that have been illegally dumped on their property.

Since this program is grant driven, we cannot always offer this program to our members. We continue to work closely with the Solid Waste Department in hopes of continuing this program. If money is available we will once again bring this event to our members. We will advertise through FARM TEAM as well as through our monthly newsletter when these events are made possible.
