The FBI established a system whereby each state and county is assigned a number that is recorded in the National Crime Information Center (NCIC). This owner applied number (OAN) consists of ten digits which are unique to each rancher, farmer or agriculturally related business. The ten digits are applied to your equipment, chemicals and livestock. OAN's can be applied by metal or ink stamping, branding, welding and tattooing.
