What is a DL-267?
A DL-267 is a California Driver's License endorsement you can earn, which allows you to legally transport agriculture-related hazardous materials within a 50-mile radius during the course of work related to an agricultural operation, without having to retain a Commercial Driver’s License.
In order to receive the endorsement, you must have a current, valid California Driver's License, be at least 21 years of age, complete a medical eligibility form, and complete a CHP-approved training course.
The certificate will have to be renewed every 4 years, and the medical certification must be renewed every 2 years.
This training is designed to comply with section 12804.2 of the California Vehicle Code.
Who Does This Apply To?
This program is designed for any person involved in the transportation of agricultural chemicals that has a class C license.
You must have a valid driver’s license to receive the certificate.
