Farm Bureau supports scientific pest management, including judicious pesticide use along with beneficial insects, cover crops, and insect mating confusion techniques

Working With Labor: Farm Bureau actively supports federal legislation to ensure availability of adequate labor supply, to promote worker safety and to provide safe, affordable housing. Bilingual safety training and employer relations programs are also an important part of Farm Bureau's work.

Protecting Your Private Property: Protection of your family or business property is the cornerstone for much of Farm Bureau's work involving water, land use and other natural resources issues. Numerous regulations at the federal, state and local levels add cost to any business based on the productive use of the land. The Farm Bureau is highly active in legislation dealing with pesticides, wetlands, clean air and endangered species laws
